We visited Diep above Findlater's. The food was amazing - the ribs as a starter is definitely not to be missed. The prawns were delicious too as where the mains. Submit a Review
Service could be improved we waited in and around an hour for a bottle of wine as it needed to be chilled. There was no communication re a delay. If we had been informed, we could have ordered alternative drinks sooner, while we waited. This would have resulted in a higher score for service. Maybe this was a teething problem. The wine was great and definitely worth the wait.
Excellent value definitely book again

I've always enjoyed my visits to Wrights Findlater's mainly because of their well-trained staff who are always friendly and efficient, their bar and restaurant menu which offers a reasonable choice at keen prices and because of the Howth village location. Arriving on a wind-swept, dark, dank early February Friday evening, we availed of their 40 euro two main courses and a bottle of white wine for two deal. Still slumbering following the long Christmas break there was a reasonable gathering of tea-time end of week customers either lining the bar or eating at tables. My partner had the pan-roasted Fillet of Sea bass with Butternut Squash Puree, Wilted Spinach and Buttered Baby Potatoes while I had the pan-fried Hake with Gambas and Asparagus on creamy mash with a chive cream sauce. I've had the hake dish a number of times here and really like it while the sea bass was well cooked and complimented by the squash puree and spinach. An enjoyable early evening sojourn and we'll be back.

The bar was quiet when we got there about 7pm mostly couples, we got starters to supplement the mains and brilliant choice on the menu.
Went for the mussels followed by the hake and it was perfect.
Well worth a visit and see you again.
Didn't like wine, portion of main course too small for a man! Could increase veg, Food was very tasty just not enough!
Great value early bird menu service was excellent and staff were particularly good with my 2 children. Definitely be back
Treated like second class citizens as we went with a voucher.....so happy we didn't pay full price for our meal It wasn't good value even with a 'deal' ..... Disappointing, plenty of dining options in Howth, wouldn't recommend this one unfortunately.....
