Brilliant spot for Sunday lunch, with music, ambience and great food. The fish and chips is heaven. The welcoming service from staff and the Manager is what makes me go back regularly.

Lovely meal here on Sunday. Could not find fault with food or service. Great atmosphere - lively with a good crowd

Beautiful day and had lunch outside in the sunshine, seafood salad is delicious with a wonderful variety of fish, my friends both had the crab claws and they are finger licking good - overall great dining experience once again.

Was so looking forward to lunch in Anglers Rest after a 1.5 hour drive. Arrived around 2 on Saturday and both ordered fish pie only to be told there was none. I asked for calamari and was told it was only available on Sunday's.... We ordered fish and chips and asked for the batter to be crispy and it didn't come out that way. Standards have definitely slipped since I was last there. nnDisappointing selection of foods and it's not good enough that the main dishes you would expect of Wrights were not available. nnUnderwhelming and expensive for the experience

Noisy but food was excellent. Hake, cod, steak and pork were mains selected and each meal was great

Started with a guinness and some ardsallagh goats cheese with pickled beetroot which was very nicely presently and tasty, with some crunchy bread. Following on I had the hake with berlotti beans, pickled onions and a fantastic cream sauce. Party of 5 and we were all very happy. Steaks hit the mark ! Food is great here and I hope they continue to keep it up as I will be back !

Great atmosphere in the Anglers Rest - love the wooden floors and lovely Kitcheny vibe. Had the Seafood Salad which was amazing and really tasty - also very healthy option, no carbs. Plus the Cappuccinos at the Anglers rest are the best I have ever tasted. No need for dessert if you are having a cappuccino - really creamy and very filling. If only the mug was bigger!! - Good size but I'd drink twice that its so nice!

Lovely warm restaurant. Love the open fires. We were a party of 8. We were looked after very well. I shared the seafood platter, it was absolutly delicious. Everybody enjoyed their meals. Nice big portions & a lovely atmosphere.
