Waiter was pleasant but the food took forever and wasn't well presented. Lamb chops were really fatty and not cooked enough.

We celebrated my Dads birthday here and the food and staff were excellent. I had potato skins to start and they were amazing. I also got a taste of the Brie which was gorgeous too. The burgers were v tasty also. One of the kids got chicken fingers and they we're good quality...not your usual deep fried crap with little chicken! The staff were v helpful and pleasant and also v attentive.

This was our 2nd visit to The Stone Grill and again we were very happy with the experience. The food was well presented and delicious. The staff were friendly without being intrusive and our waiter Shane was super with our little 6 year old son. Only criticism I would have is the seating area upstairs does need a little TLC in the decor Blinds on window could do with replacing . Otherwise a lovely spot.

Had a lovely dinner there last week, nice cosy seat by the window. Only complaint would be the baked potatoes skins as starter - really tiny portion & didn't warrant the price. I think I counted 6 wafer thin slices of spuds as opposed to a half baked potatoe that I was expecting - although presented well and tasted good. Had steak on stone & other half had the curry and everything was fab! Staff lovely but seemed a little understaffed - had to go to counter twice to get sauce and then order the coffees.

Excellent place to come for a relaxed cup of coffee (which is very nice) and a bite to eat with friends. Very pleasant staff. Highly recommend as a local hangout for coffee lovers

This review is for the coffee shop. Unfortunately I will not be returning. Went for a cup of tea & an apple danish which was stale even after being heated up!! The staff were glum & tired looking. I think its a pity as a nice coffee shop is just what Stepaside village needs.

Great steak on the stone however they do not have the proper hot Louisiana sauce on their wings with blue cheese which was disappointing. Potatoe skins were a very nice though.

Had a lovely lunch, one of the nicest goats cheese salads I've had. Really friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value

Had a lovely breakfast at the Step Inn on the bank holiday Monday. We used the Menupages breakfast voucher and everything was delicious. The full breakfast was huge and it came with some gorgeous freshly squeezed orange juice and tea or coffee. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the setting is really lovely - our table had a lovely view of the mountain. Would certainly go again
