I love The Larder, its one of my go-to places in the city. The food is consistently good, especially the chicken wings. The service is friendly and helpful. Its good value, especially the early bird. And the desserts top it all off.

We didn't make a booking and we were lucky to get a table as this seems a very popular restaurant even on a Wednesday. The early bird is extensive realise there is a surcharge on everything except two dishes on the menu which I found misleading.
Otherwise, the staff were freindly and prompt the food was delicious and the atmosphere cosy but buzzing.

Great food. Good service. Went for early bird although not sure like that menus combined as supplements for non EB items steep! Definitely worth a visit

I traveled along to the restaurant with a group on the momentous Occasion, Pride 2015. I was given a menu, with a main course and the starters were very small writing, ie NOT important. hahaah. I looked at a Veggie Breakfast. I wasn't impressed with its ingredients. So I said I'd leave it. I asked the waitress, which she was very kind, if I could order TWO Starters to make it a main. ahahah. So I enquired a Soup which is a Leak and Lentil PANCHETTO, something like that. Now the waitress explained that's ham. I've personally NEVER heard of a ham let alone a meat dish in a soup, other than the simple Chicken etc., . So I had to make do with Rocket Salad AND Dip Bread. Now both were lovely, except, the Olives' I ain't sure "are there suppose to be STONES" in either olives, the red and Green????? So to sum up, Service EXCELLENT, Food CRAP.

I have been here on 2 occasions now. Once for a late breakfast/lunch and another on a voucher purchased for evening meal.
The first time myself and my partner got fry ups, my partner is a vegi so instead of meat he got hallumi which was just beautiful. I was almost regretting getting the normal breakfast!

The second time we went was for an evening meal which was nice But didn't rate as highly as the brunch!

Just back from lunch with my wife.We had eaten here a few months ago and enjoyed it. A starter of breads dips and olives was nice and light. Mushrooms in a mild oriental spice. My wife had chicken & chorizo penne which was beautifully seasoned and a slight chorizo flavour which wasn't overpowering. I had beef tacos which were 3 small tacos side green salad and rice. The beef was so tender it literally melted in the mouth and the sour cream topping was perfect with it. A bakewell tart to share with one coffee, a french coffee and a glass of wine. Total bill was €43.70. This place is well worth a visit.
