Went with the girls for cocktails & had a bite to eat while we were there. Nice atmosphere & good service but the food portions were a bit on the small side for the price.

Hi, I booked a table for 3 people under booking ref 375957. When I arrived there was no table booked. This was very disappointing on Menupages side & also on the manger of the Exchequer who was not willing to accommodate us or in the position to as the restaurant was fully booked. We spoke with a lovely lady who was serving in the restaurant & she manged to set us up a table & we did have a lovely meal. When speaking with the manager they said they are not affiliated with Menupages & yet I got a confirmation for the booking & an email this morning looking for a review. Can you please come back to me on this with some feedback as I have also booked a table in The Camden Kitchen for the 16th December & do want to be disappointed.

Booked for 7PM Saturday - recommended by our 28 yr old daughter. Bad omen approaching the place when we could hear the loud music thru the glass dors and windows from the dtreet ! Much louder inside. Table not ready so we had to wait. Eventually seated in that strange long dining area. Mrs G got her back to the wall out of the noise. I was in the aisle with my left ear unprotected. Wine starts at €25 ! Starters of pate (i'll call it what it was' and goats cheese bought in and uninspiring. I had the Ling fingers (Fish & Chips) which were soggy. Mrs G had the bacon & Cabbage ( came on a board !! a lump of bacon and a skillet of cabbage drowned in cream). Hugely dissapointing. Compained but were made feel like we were the first ever to complain. Not a good experience - won't be back. Only positive is that the waiters and waitresses were friendly !

Went here for a special treat. It was wonderful. They do fabulous "key lime" cocktails, a special treat! The atmosphere is classy and special. The decor is pared back which adds a sort of sophistication.

One of the best atmospheres I've experience in Dublin. Food was fresh and impressively presented. The cocktails are second to none in Dublin and certainly worth every penny. Would fully recommend it for people who want a special evening out.

The Exchequer is not really for me I feel the restaurant or eating part is a strange room and although I cant fault the food and the portions are huge but you can get similar in most restaurants in town and they have a superior atmosphere. The service wasn't great it took ages to get drinks and we had to keep asking for them.

Went there with the gang for Sunday brunch. The food (as usual) was delicious. The beef was cooked to perfection and the chestnut stuffing and gravy was out of this world.
I think they were unfortunately understaffed this occasion.

Was pleasantly surprised with this place for dinner. I had always assumed it feel quite pub like while dining but the seperate restaurant at the back is quite nice and cozy. The cocktail list is a must and the dishes presentation and taste was quite good. I will be back and i would highly recommend!
