Went for pre theatre food. Restaurant was empty function room, zero atmosphere. Food was average at best. Lamb shank especially should be avoided. Overall poor experience

Visited at 6pm. Very little atmosphere in the bar but that matter as it was a pre- theatre meal so I wasn't going to be there for too long. Waitress that served was very nice and helpful. Ordered just a main which was duck, accompanied by green beans with hazelnuts, mushrooms, chunky chips and mash. Absolutely gorgeous. Will certainly return again. Top class meal.

Availed of CityDeal voucher: amazing value at 45 euro for four people: soup + any main course + tea/coffee + bottle of wine. Since there were only three of us they allowed a dessert each. Pea soup very tasty. Limited selection of main courses.
Has gotten much busier since previous visit 3 months ago - may explain very slow service.

4 of us had early bird menu, While I had made the booking through menu pages after checking the menu was a bit surprised to find an Asian menu. For starters 3 had the barbecue ribs and one had the chicken soup & all were delicious. For mains we had the prawn curry, sizzling fillet of beef, chicken curry & salmon.
The sizzling beef just melted in the mouth and the prawn curry and chilli were delicious, however the salmon was dried out as if it was left under the grill while the other dishes were prepared. The service was fantastic and overall good value.
