A hidden gem in Phoenix Park. I bring my kids to the playground here regularly & always have to grab a coffee and something sweet from the cafe. The cafe serves a yummy quiches, soups, salads and homemade cakes. Everything is mostly organic. On this particular day I hadn't had any lunch so I decided to grab a slice of quiche with side salad. The side salad was delicious. A mixture of beans in a lovely dressing.

I can't believe I've never been here before - a hidden secret in the Park. Well worth a visit for coffee or lunch. Nice fresh cakes or lovely quiches with salad sides. Good seating outside - must be a sun trap when the sun shines. I'll be back on the bike.

The food looked to be good quality. The service was slow and understaffed for such a busy afternoon. The space is quite small and very noisy but it is a nice place. Tea was good value and the coconut raspberry crunch slice was tasty but a bit disappointing! Overall it was a nice experience but maybe a place to go on a quitter day to get more pleasure!

The atmosphere in this place probably depends a lot on the weather. If it's nice enough to sit in the outdoor courtyard, then it's fantastic! The café itself is quite small. There's a nice range of lovely quality food, and there are nice herbal teas and optional extras of soy milk etc which I always appreciate. The staff were helpful. The location, with the great playground next door, wide open spaces for dogs to run around and the vegetable garden is probably this café's strongest selling point. It's so convenient in many ways that I will be very likely to return.

Took my mother here for lunch. The cafe itself is quite small but there is a lot of courtyard seating outside. We had just missed two coachloads of tourists so some of the main courses had already sold out by 12.30pm. The food all looks very fresh and homemade. I had lasagne and my mother chose a chicken and celery wrap. Although the bowl which contained my lasagne was too hot to touch, the lasagne itself was ice cold in the middle. It was taken back with a smile and heated again and it was fine. For two lunches and one tea our bill was just under €20. I thought that was ok and then went back and ordered a small coffee and one slice of cake to share. This cost €6.50 which I think was way too much. The setting is lovely and there were many families outside having picnics. At these prices, I'm not surprised.

I'm a frequent lunch visitor and you just cant beat the food served here. It's a self service restaurant with seating downstairs, upstairs and in the back courtyard. The food is hte really draw here. Everything is freshly made with a lot of the vegetables coming from the open gardens beside the cafe. Soups are always fab, they vary depending on the vegetables available and with the home made brown bread are very filling. Mains vary also, choices of lasagne, beef stirfry, salmon and various currries accommpanied by the most fabulous choices of fresh salads. If you like quiche you have found quiche heaven here. The home made cakes just HAVE to be tasted to be believed. I'm slavating thinking about them. This is well worth a visit for lunch and the best is you have the beautiful Phoenix pk right outside for a nice stroll before or after.

Have been here a few times over the summer and really enjoy this place. The staff are always very friendly and the food is fresh and tastes delicious. On some occassions I have just had a scone and a coffee...I later found out that this place seems to be known for their scones and they sell out very fast!! Other times I have been here for the quiche and salads. They are always really good and there is a nice atmosphere. I will defintely keep going back!

Had a really nice lunch here - I didn't even know it existed before! It's self service, nice side salads, some quiches/tarts, paninis - some lovely looking cakes, pies, scone which I enjoyed looking at - I didn't give in to temptation but they look really good.... small cafe, lots of space outside, nice option if in you're in the park.
