I like this restaurant, which is the reason I frequent it quite a bit. It is decorated in authentic Indian style, which I love. The service is friendly, especially if you are regulars! At this stage we have tried most of the menu and there is nothing we ever had a problem with. What I particularly love is so few of their dishes have cream in them - I find cream in meals very filling - but there are some for those of you who enjoy. For anyone with walking difficulties there are stairs leading up to the restaurant and there isnt a lift so be mindful. This is a restaurant I would highly recommend.

Coming here for years but this is the first time we have written a review. The food, service and price;quality ratio are all excellent. We also use home delivery now and again but good to go there as the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Well worth a visit and as it is quiet at times, we think that some people are missing out!

The restaurant was empty on a thursday evening and if i hadn't been here before i would have left. The service was good and the food was lovely but i did find it a bit pricey, maybe if there was a bit more atmosphere i wouldn't have minded paying that bit more

We have been coming here for some time now and can only say positive things about it. The service and food are second to none as well as the nicely priced early bird menu. We have eaten in a lot of Indian restaurants and this place is up there with the best.
We look forward to our next visit.

A couple of years ago this was a busy bustling place with friendly efficient service. The food was very good with a particularly delicious Korma. How times have changed! Last night it was almost empty with silent and painfully slow service. The food was bland and thereboring. two of us started wit Sami Kebabs, on tuna the other lamb. The tuna was from a tin and both appeared as mini burgers with the tasts and texture of cardboard. Mu lamb passanda did not have its characteristic creamy yellow sauce and there was no hint of almonds and no flaked nuts on top. What I got was chewy pieces of lamb in a mild curry sauce. My partners chicken jalfreise was bland and a poor relation to its usually fiery self. All n all a bad food day. No wonder it was empty.

Spend a very 'mix match' evening in Meghna last night. We arrived at 7.30 and were told to sit at the window, a table dressed for two when there were three of us???? We were NOT shown to our table, rather unmannerly, I thought!!! We ordered wine first followed by our food at 7.50, at 8.25 we were still awaiting starters??? They arrived thereafter at 8.35, two fish kebabs and a chicken Tikka for me (the chicken was pink) so I sent it back, a cooked chicken tikka then arrived and my glass of wine was removed (apparently there was onion in it, or so the waiter told me), it wasn't replaced until I asked. It was substitued with a positively 'rank' glass of "I have no clue what'!!!!
The mains were really good, my Chicken Chilli masala was gorgeous, and my counterparts Chicken jal frezi was great however the lamb passanda was poor! The choice of wine , a Pinot Grigio, was good. The service appaling, Im not sure that I will be back?!?

Overall a very average experience. We will not be going back and if we haven't had a Groupon voucher which reduced the price we would be very dissapointed.

The restaurant decor is quite dull, there was a very unpleasant smell in the entrance hall.

Food was just average quality, we both love Indian food and so far we were very happy with our previous restaurant choices (from cheap to expensive restaurants).
The food was very heavy and greasy, our dishes must have been kept in a grill oven before serving as both sauces and couple of pieces of chicken were slightly burned on the top. The starter was just ok but again covered in oil.

The staff was just ok, not rude but nothing special.

On the positive side the garlic naan bread was delicious but this is really the only highlight of this dining experience.
