This was my 3rd visit in the last few months and I recommended it to friends who had not been there.Last night's dinner was such a disappointment after the first two.I booked a table for 3 people to eat and catch up.A huge party of at least 25 people were seated upstairs and all the middle tables were put together. As I sat waiting at 6pm the party added chairs to their group. The noise was exceptionally loud. This party were seated only inches from us.It felt cramped and uncomfortable .While the food was good I could not hear the conversation at my own table of three without leaning right over and asking my companions on more than one occasion to repeat their words. The service was not good, unlike other times. The waiting staff were distracted and forgot things like extra water when asked for it and we had to request it again. On other visits I had noticed that downstairs was used for big groups as it is spacious. I noticed last night that it was largely empty and we could have been moved there to enjoy our meal.I am due back on 18th November with 3 friends.I think I will rethink this birthday meal if the noise level is similar?Loud and discordant music was also played last night. It was just not worth the effort to try to catch the staff members attention about it.It was not a good experience_It was cramped and chaotic and I didnt go there to sit almost on top of such a large group.

I went here with a friend, Having being to Luigi's years ago I thought I was going to be in for a treat. Sadly, that was not the case. we were seated downstairs beside a curtain that let all the draft in, I wore my coat the entire time. The service was so slow, took ages to even order our food.
We got 2 meat dishes and the meat was pretty awful. I didn't end up eating much. The atmosphere was ok, the lighting and over all décor needs to be looked at. Its so grim - with a few minor changes and good lighting it will brighten up the place. I'm afraid I don't intend on going back here sadly.

Went on a Saturday evening. Food was good although I had to wait about 20 minutes as I was having salmon. Atmosphere could be improved by better lighting I think, it was quite loud and a little noisy but it was the weekend so I guess thats standard. Good range of food on the menu and seeing what others around had ordered, I think I would go back again for other food options. Not as good a selection if you wanted a Carb Free meal but then it is italian mainly - really was just one choice - the salmon.

One of my favourite restaurant in Dublin for pre night out dinner. The pizzas are yummy, the service is great and the prices are reasonable.

We eat here regularly, we love the food and the staff. This time, due to the closeness of Christmas it was very noisy with parties and groups, too loud and we were placed upstairs, in the middle of a party. That is my only complaint though, the food was excellent, they had a Christmas three-course menu for €36.95 which was great value. Usually they do a special three-course menu for under €25 but given the time of year the Christmas menu was reasonable. The service was excellent as always despite the busy parties. Will definitely continue to go back.

I'd been there a couple of times before, the carbonara and the salmon salad were amazing! The lunch menu is pretty good value as well. Staff was pretty good!
