Good World Chinese Restaurant

The Good World has the best dim-sum in Dublin and the menu also offers delicacies such as ducks feet. It's open later than most other eateries which is always a plus point and is very much the choice of Dublin's Chinese community.

Very efficient service. The food was tasty an well cooked. However the restaurant was lacking in ambience and could use some updating of décor.

We ordered the glutinous rice dim sum but weren't told that it would take 25 minutes to arrive. Only when I asked why it took so long did they inform me later. Also, our boiled rice never arrived, instead they gave us a big pot of fried rice when we only asked for one bowl. So I think they misunderstood the order or got it wrong. Other than that, food was delicious.

Had a booking for 4 of us on Saturday. We where shoved in a corner downstairs in a cold room beside the toilets. We were not made feel a bit welcome . Also said to a waitress that there was no hot water or hand towels in the toilet and we're told there is nothing they can do about the hot water??? Food just OK wasn't much thought in the presentation. Don't think we'll be back any time soon

My husband and I ate at this restaurant on Sunday evening having booked our table over the phone earlier in the day. When we walked into the restaurant and told the staff member that we had a table booked, he pointed to two vacant tables in the most hostile and rude manner. Only for we had a voucher to use up we would have left the restaurant immediately. I spoke to the manager complaining about the unacceptable behaviour of this member of staff. I also asked that we would prefer if we were served at our table by another member of staff. The manager was pleasant but not too concerned about his staff's rude behaviour towards a customer. Our meal was satisfactory, but we could not wait to get out of there. We have come to this restaurant on many occasions over the years, but this is our final visit to this establishment. Unless management are going to employ and train people who have the correct attitude and are polite and act professional when dealing with customers, we would not recommend this establishment to friends, family and visitors, avoid at all costs.

Great spot, chinese food can tend to be same old but not here with some fresh takes on familiar choices

Good value for money. Great service. They were fast and efficient. Although I had a voucher I did find better value meal options on the menu so could have just walked in for the same deal.
