Takeaway is a disgrace I ordered from it a few times simply because the competition in this town is non existent as they are all horrible besides carlettos but they are overpriced. If you sit in the food is edible basically they use good chicken and beef for dine in customers and God knows what they put the takeaway dishes. Costs a fortune and the food is worse than any Chinese I ever had anywhere else compared a Chinese like newlands Dublin you wonder how they keep there doors open.

stopped off coming from Blanchardstown Hospital they do a special dinner 2 courses 16.50 went in with my son, its a bit scattered take-away and Restaurant too close together not fine dining by any means but as a casual stop off as it was for us it sufficed, we weren't either hungry or dissapointed when leaving............
Ordered meal for delivery at 6.45pm. Meal was delivered extremely fast. Thought this was great but then again how could they manage to cook a nice meal and deliver within 10 minutes? It was too good to be true. Everything was reheated. Nothing was freshly cooked. Spare ribs left a green slime on the rice and were overcooked or should I say overheated and chips were soggy. Every thing was disgusting. We ate half of it as we were hungry but could not stomach any more. I rang to complain but was told "I only answer phone". I asked for manager to call me but needless to say he didn't. Never order a meal here again. Thank god there is competition in town. They don't think so !
The food in this restaurant to put it mildly is terrible

Have eaten here on many occasions. Food can be hit and miss, is usually pretty good though. Service is friendly, value for money is ok. Not many places to eat in Dunshaughlin unfortunately, so the best of a bad bunch!

The food here is quite average, not the worst, certanly not the best. The service is friendly but the place could do with a bit of painting and recarpeting.

The food here is average (not the best and not the worst I have eaten). The service is prompt and consistent although they do often take away your entree plate a little too quickly to bring out your main. Compared to the take-away, the prices are way too expensive so the restaurant is often empty while the take-away area is packed. As a vegetarian I have one complaint: I have twice accidentally been given meat spring rolls when I've ordered vegetarian ones. It is bad enough biting into meat but I think the staff should have been more apologetic.

Went here the Saturday night with my boyfriend, its local to us so handy enough. My thoughts on the Phonix are that its average enough, the service is just ok and before I was even finished my starter they were nearly taking the plate from under my nose. Its ok for a takeaway but wouldn’t be going back in a hurry.
Best Chinese Restaurant Around, I eat here regurarly and cannot fault it!
