One person arrived early. She sat at the bar for a while, and was brought to the table at 2.40pm. Everyone else arrived at 3.
Two of us opted for the "two hour bottomless Mimosa/Bellini" option with lunch. The other five people went separates.
At 4.40pm the restaurant refused to refill the two Mimosa glasses, saying we had "been there since 2.20pm". We certainly had not, After discussing this with the manager, and interrupting our lunch, the staff begrudgingly plonked a Bellini into one of the two glasses and walked off. (We had been drinking Mimosas because we don't really like processed orange juice). We then had to call her back, remind her there were two of us, and ask for Mimosas. We were told "there were no more Mimosas" at 4,40pm.
Just also want to add that we are by no means drinkers, and I can assure you we were not tucking in!! I think we had three each.
The attitude of the staff was disgusting and rude, not to mention erroneous assertions made about the time of the group's arrival.
Reminds me about everything negative about Dublin in the boom time. All show and facade with nothing behind. AVOID!!!!
