Their pizzas have always been prepared in-house by expert pizza chefs and toppings like chicken and ham are slow-cooked overnight to produce a high quality pizza.
In 2013 Benito's started to produce its own pasta and these homemade pastas have proved a hit from the very start. Dishes such as the Ravioli Fiorentina and Tagliatelle with Hick's sausage meat ragú are setting Benito's apart from its competition and giving the restaurant a strong identity.
Benito's prides itself on its friendly reputation and appeals to families and couples alike. It's not unusual to see families in the restaurant at six o'clock and couples in for the second sitting, enjoying the live music by resident musician Seán Whelan (ex-Cafe Orchestra).
For those nights that you prefer to stay in, Benito's has a separate takeaway section and offers a delivery service.

Won't be coming back. Food was bland. Table where we sitting was very uncomfortable & wasn't secure. Waitress that served us wasn't on the ball. When it got busy - we were forgotten.

Was quite as it was mid week but still had a warm friendly atmosphere. Food was fresh and very tasty and at a reasonable price. Our server was also friendly and knowledgable about the menu, no complaints here

Three of us decided to try here on a friend's recommendation. The Seafood pasta was delicious. The Pizza was too big to finish! and the pork escalope was just divine. The deserts were also delicious. it is one of the nicest places to eat in Dalkey.

We went in Benito's last sunday. The food was awful, especially the meatballs, they were tasteless and the tomato sauce as well. The pizza was insipid.

Haven't been to Benitos in a while, but as ever, we had a great night! Fantastic pizza and caprese as ever. The crab ravioli was gorgeous and atmosphere suitably buzzy! It won't be so long before the next visit...
