Book a table
Have to say, was extremely disappointed from the moment we walked in the door. We had no reservation but it was 5.50pm on a Thursday so didn't think it would be a problem. Upon arrival there was only 2 tables with customers and we were asked if we had a reservation...it seemd like she was doing us a favour by allowing us have a table. After sitting down a waiter came over to tell us the specials which he just read off the wall behind me and basically gave out to me for turning and looking to read myself. I had to remind them to take my order for a drink . The food was below adverage with a unreasonably high price. The small jug of water cost €2.50???? Through the whole meal the waitress may aswel have been sitting on our lap or joining our conversation as she stationed herself right beside us. I understand that the till was beside us but there was no need for it. Overall I had a really bad experience after been very excited to try the place.

Went here for a late lunch at about 3.30 and was a bit disappointed to be given quite a limited menu - I was hoping for the full a la carte but this didn't seem to be an option - I think the menu changes after 4pm. Having said that the food was absolutely delicious and very good value for money. The service was good and the restaurant itself was spotless. I would definitely go again - although I would go for dinner next time so the menu wouldn't be so limited.

I had not been to Steps of Rome for some time and we went there for a gathering with friends. I had the vegetarian pizza which was nice. The waitress was a bit snappy.
The restaurant is much smaller than I expected so felt a bit cramped. Food was fine. Dessert menu very limited and didn't have our first choice in wine. Service very good and friendly.

I had not been to Steps of Rome for some time but my memory was good food reasonable price great Italian buzz. Very disappointed last night --- food very average -- in fact my friends Cannalloni was very dry and bland and 14.90 for a pasta with no meat content to me is overpriced! I will not be going back in a hurry

Delicious pizza. Staff were slightly reluctant to give us a table away from the door and were not overly friendly. Service was good otherwise. One of the best places for pizza in Dublin.
